It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the fourth edition of WTE Miami. Each year, our objective is to create an environment where the international travel industry can meet, build relationships, exchange ideas and, most importantly, do business.

WTE Miami provides a unique setting for this. Few cities connect international markets in quite the same way, and this global character continues to be one of the greatest strengths of WTE Miami.

Miami International Airport and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau have played an extraordinary role in strengthening Miami’s position on the global tourism stage. Their continued work to expand international connectivity, attract new markets and promote Greater Miami as a world-class destination has been instrumental in creating the opportunities we see today.

WTE Miami is proud to work alongside both organizations and to provide another platform where destinations, airlines and travel industry leaders can connect and explore new opportunities for Miami and the region.

This year also represents an important new stage in the development of the event. With Fairfest’s more than 35 years of experience in building leading travel trade shows such as OTM and TTF, we are combining WTE Miami’s strong local and international relationships with proven global exhibition expertise to continue growing the event.

For 2026, we are placing an even stronger emphasis on qualified business connections. With more than 500 exhibitors expected, an expanded U.S. Hosted Buyer Program, increased one-to-one meeting opportunities and participation from destinations, tourism organizations, travel advisors, tour operators and suppliers from around the world, we want every attendee to find true value in being here.

Our conference theme this year, “The Travel Advisor of the Future,” also reflects an important moment for our industry. Technology and artificial intelligence are transforming the way we work, but relationships, expertise and trust remain at the heart of travel. Our goal is to explore how these elements can work together to create new opportunities.

I would like to personally thank Miami International Airport, our Host, and the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, Global Partner, as well as our sponsors, exhibitors, partners, speakers, buyers, travel professionals and everyone who has contributed to making WTE Miami possible.
