Central America at WTE Miami 2025: Seven countries, one gateway

Located just a few hours by air from major U.S. hubs, Central America offers a unique mix of diversity, authenticity, and warm hospitality.

Central America is showcasing its full diversity here at WTE Miami 2025, where the Central America Tourism Agency (CATA) is leading a united regional presence. Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and the Dominican Republic have come together to highlight the region as one accessible gateway for U.S. travelers.

The shared stand at WTE Miami is serving as a strategic business hub, connecting wholesalers, tour operators, travel agents, and buyers directly with representatives from across the region. Visitors can discover a wide range of opportunities, from world-renowned archaeological sites and nature-driven adventures to vibrant cultural expressions, distinctive gastronomy, and the chance to experience both the Caribbean and the Pacific.

CATA has also unveiled its new international promotional campaign, Central America Gateway. This initiative is positioning the region as an accessible and transformative escape for both body and soul, inviting travelers to immerse themselves in unforgettable landscapes, cultural richness, and authentic flavors.

Together, the seven destinations are reaffirming the U.S. as their main source market and strengthening ties with key partners in the travel industry.
