WTE Miami After Hours

What happens when the center of the world meets Miami after dark?

Last night, as the doors closed on the first day of WTE Miami, the conversation continued just a little farther down Collins Avenue, where the Quito Tourism Board hosted an exclusive Cocktail & Networking Reception for invited guests.

Held at the Ocean Breezeway at the Royal Palm South Beach Miami Hotel from 7 p.m., the evening carried the fitting theme, “Feel Like the Center of the World.”

It was an opportunity to shift gears after a busy day on the show floor. Away from stands, schedules and conference sessions, guests could continue the conversations started during the day in a fun and more relaxed Miami Beach setting.

As the capital of Ecuador, Quito brought another distinctly Latin American dimension to an event taking place in a city with deep connections across the region. The reception gave the destination a different kind of presence at WTE Miami, creating an experience around its identity rather than simply introducing it through a presentation.

And in Miami, where business conversations have a habit of continuing long after the exhibition halls close, the format felt particularly appropriate.

For guests, it was a chance to raise a glass, reconnect with familiar faces and make new introductions before returning to WTE Miami for its second and final day, carrying the energy of the show into the Miami night.
